Our founder, Joe Toscano, is a former Google consultant who helped his family's auto shop grow 4x in 5 years through digital transformation. From pushing for digital shop management solutions and automated customer communications to a complete overhaul of the website and digital marketing strategies, Service Stories is Joe's natural next step.

Not if we're doing our job right. If something seems too difficult for you, let us know and we'll figure out how to make it more accessible.
It really depends how often you're publishing but it's not unrealistic to expect growth within 2-3 weeks. We recommend that you do not significantly exceed your existing publishing speed on your website. If you publish one blog a month right now, we recommend you start with maybe one blog a week. If you're doing one a week already or more, then you can start there and take it up a notch, and then continue to take that up over time.
If you're someone who has been consistently blogging weekly or multiple times a week, it's safe to assume that you could probably very quickly add on higher volume. Maybe you could do two or three a week to start, or more; it's up to you, depending on how you want to run your content system.
No, a service area is not considered a "location" in our billing system. You can add as many service areas as you would like.
We charge based on the number of physical locations (offices, store fronts, auto shops, etc) you have.
The reason for this is that each location is generally associated with its own Google Business Profile and social media pages so there's a unique value for managing that additional work. We also find each location is often unique and nuanced compared to its parent company, especially in a larger organization, so our platform is built to recognize and manage all those differences.
Lastly, more often than not the vendors we use also charge us for volume increases and we find locations to be the most representative in our COGS.
One story is the equivalent of one work item turned into content for every platform you select. So one story means a web blog, a Facebook post, a post for Google Business. Whatever content platforms you have integrated we make one piece for each and that is what we consider to be one "story" on our platform.
We primarily count a location as a physical location you operate out of. If you're an auto shop and have 6 physical locations, that's relatively straight forward. If you're a plumber that services 10 different service areas but have one office, we count that as one location in regards to pricing. If you're a creative services agency that has an office in Denver, Los Angeles and Omaha, NE, we count that as three locations.
If cost per location pricing is still is unclear or you'd like to know more of what goes into it, please reach out at support@servicestories.com
