At Service Stories, we stand behind the quality of our website management services. We want every customer to feel confident getting started, which is why we offer straightforward refund protections for new and returning users.
New User Guarantee: 90-Day Performance Guarantee
If you are signing up with a new company domain for the first time, you are eligible for our 90-Day Performance Guarantee, subject to the conditions below.
Eligibility:
- Eligibility is determined by your company's domain (e.g., yourcompany.com). Each domain is eligible for this guarantee once and only once.
- The 90-day window begins on your initial sign-up date — not the date your free trial ends, not the date you purchase a subscription, and not the date any payment is first processed.
- For example: if you sign up, complete a 30-day free trial, purchase a subscription on day 31, and request a refund on day 85 — that request falls within the 90-day window and may be eligible. However, if you request a refund on day 95, it falls outside the window regardless of how recently you subscribed or how many payments you have made.
Traffic Performance Condition:
Your eligibility for a full 90-day refund depends on whether Service Stories has delivered a measurable improvement in your web traffic:
- If you have been using Service Stories to the fullest extent, at least 3 posts per week, and your website has NOT experienced an increase of 30% or more in web traffic since your sign-up date, you are eligible for a full refund of all subscription payments made within the 90-day window.
- If you have been using Service Stories to the fullest extent, at least 3 posts per week, and your website HAS experienced an increase of 30% or more in web traffic OR you have not been using Service Stories to the fullest extent, at least 3 posts per week, and have not seen an increase of 30% or more in direct web traffic since your sign-up date, the full 90-day guarantee no longer applies. In this case, you are eligible for a refund of your most recent prior month's subscription payment only.
Web traffic is measured using the analytics data associated with your managed domain. Service Stories will provide documentation of traffic performance upon request.
Returning User Policy: 30-Day Refund Window
If a company domain has previously had an active subscription with Service Stories — and those services were cancelled, paused, or otherwise discontinued — any new subscription created under that same domain is no longer eligible for the 90-Day Performance Guarantee. Instead, returning users receive a 30-day refund window, beginning on the date the new subscription is activated.
To initiate a refund, contact our support team with the following:
- The company associated with your account
- Your account email address
- A brief description of your reason for requesting a refund
We aim to process all refund requests within 5–7 business days. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
General Conditions
- Refunds apply only to subscription fees paid directly to Service Stories. Any third-party costs or add-on services may be subject to separate terms.
- Service Stories reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of suspected abuse of this policy (e.g., repeated sign-ups across related domains intended to circumvent the returning user policy).
- This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
